A “Book Launch Toolkit” debuted this week via webinar run by Joel Friedlander, influential self-publishing guru. The tool kit is billed as an “innovative and comprehensive “e-product” that contains all of the tools, training and templates needed for indie authors to plan and execute a successful (and profitable) book launch.”
Written by self-publishing pioneer Joel Friedlander, whose innovations have shaped the world of self-publishing for the past decade, the kit promises an easy to use step-by-step process for new authors or veteran indy authors about to launch a new book.
Step by Step Plan and Worksheets
Presented in a PDF format, the Book Launch Toolkit contains an easy to follow step-by-step launch plan that includes training, launch worksheets, swipe files, templates, checklists and guidelines to maximize a book launch—all available as an instant download with easy to use click-and-type worksheets and checklists.
Author Platform and Marketing Plan Included
A section on how to build your writer platform, engage your fan base (or start one) and leverage your network is also included, along with a customizable book launch action plan for authors in every stage of their project—from experienced authors who have a well-established author platform to a “lean” book launch strategy for authors who have a small or no current author platform established. The tools, says Friedlander, are designed to ultimately help authors save time and money on positioning their brand and creating buzz.
The kit is organized under 20 “Tool” headings with information and instructions on a wide variety of topics, including: Book/Author Websites, Marketing Materials, Working with Speaking Engagements, How to Start an Email Campaign, Blogging for Authors, and Advertising/Promotion.
